License

1. Dual-license model
KubeTitan is offered under a dual-license approach: source-available code for inspection/contribution under repository license terms, and a commercial license for paid work, organizational use, and business operations after trial.
2. Trial period
All users receive a 30-day full-feature trial with no credit card required. Continued commercial or organizational usage after trial requires a paid plan.
3. When a paid license is required
A paid license is required for:
- individual professionals using KubeTitan for work;
- contractors and freelancers using KubeTitan for client engagements;
- teams using KubeTitan in companies, startups, government, or other organizations;
- internal production, staging, or operational organizational usage.
4. Source-available code and forks
You may inspect, contribute to, and build your own fork under repository license terms. Commercial use of self-built forks still requires a valid KubeTitan commercial license unless a written exception applies.
5. Plan intent
Plan categories are currently Individual (one named user), Team (multiple users in one organization), and Enterprise (advanced security, compliance, procurement, or SLA requirements).
6. Exceptions
We may offer free or discounted licensing for verified students, educators, approved open-source maintainers, and qualified nonprofits/community programs on a case-by-case basis.
7. Restrictions
You may not, except where permitted by law or contract:
- resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the software;
- remove or alter proprietary notices;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
8. Open source dependencies
KubeTitan includes third-party open source dependencies governed by their own licenses. Those licenses apply to the respective components.
9. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you materially violate these terms. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall KubeTitan.
10. Precedence
If there is a conflict between this page and a signed order form, MSA, or enterprise agreement, the signed agreement controls.
